All of this software has been successfully tested on a Philips Velo 1. That means (in theory) that it should work on all HPCs with MIPS processors running Windows CE 1.0. If you have a device with an SH3 processor, please keep in mind that I have not tested the software on your processor but I have to the best of my ability included links to files for your device. This compilation of software has taken many long days to locate, download, and finally test. With that in mind, I would urge you to spread the word about this site to help others with Windows CE 1.0 devices that feel stranded. Enjoy!

Learn how to connect with HPC Explorer 1.1 to Windows 2000 or Windows XP. I haven't been able to try this myself because I don't have Windows 2000/XP so I'd really appreciate it if you could tell me if it works for you. Thanks!

| Paragraph Calligrapher 5.1 | Easily the best handwriting and printing recognition program for CE 1.0. Sadly the 5.1 version is the last one that is released for CE 1.0. But never mind because it is really good. As I said it recognizes both handwriting and printing. This versatile program gives CE 1.0 a spell checker as well. | pcAnywhere CE | Symantec has just made this title FREEWARE! This cool utility allows you to access your desktop computer from anywhere in the world via your HPC. It allows you to do more than just copy and upload files. In fact you actually use the programs loaded on your desktop. Imagine browsing the Internet with Internet Explorer 6.0 or using Microsoft Office on your Velo. Whatever is loaded on your desktop you can use and it works very fast on a Velo 1. To get the pcAnywhere CE software click one of the links in the cell to the right of this one. Do NOT download the software from Symantec's page because it is corrupt. Many users will need to view Symantec's pcAnywhere CE page that has links to support and system requirements. One person has complained that Symantec's pages do not work with Netscape browsers.
